Web browsers allow a user to quickly and easily access information provided on many Webpages at many websites by travelling these links. web browsers format HTML information for display , so the apperance of a web page may differ between browsers.
Some of Web browser currently available for personal computers include Internet Explorer , Mozilla Firefox ,Safari , Netscape , Opera , Avant Browser , Konqueror , Google Chrome , Flock , Arachne , Epiphany , K- Meleon and AOL Explorer , Web browser are the most commonly used type of HTTP user agent. Although browsers are typically used to access the WorldWideWeb . they can also be used to access information provided by Web servers in private networks or content in file systems.

Internet Explorer
Windows Internet Explorer (formely Microsoft Internet Explorer abbreviated MSIE) , commonly abbreviated to IE , is a series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft and included as part of the microsoft windows line of operating systems starting in 1995 . It has been the most widely used web browser since 1999 n attaining a peak of about 95% usage share during 2002 and 2003 with IE5 and IE6 but steadily declining since , despite the introduction of IE7. microsoft spent over 100 millions dollars (USD) a year in the late 1990s , with over 1,000 people working on IE by 1999.
Internet Explorer was first released as part of the add-on package Plus ! for windows 95 in 1995. Later versions were available as free downloads, or in service packs , and included in the OEM Service release of Windows 95 and later versio n of windows . The most recent release is version 7.0 which is available as free update for Windows XP service pack 2 , and Windows server 2003 with service Pack 1 or later . Windows vista , and windows server 2008. Internet Explorer 8 is under development and is excepted to be released by the end of 2008.
Netscape Navigator
Netscape Navigator and Netscape are the names for the proprietary web browser popular in the 1990s . and the flagship product of the Netscape Communications Corporation, and the dominant Web browser in terms of usage share. Yet by 2002 its user had almost disappered , partly because of Microft's bundling (inclusion) of its Internet Explorer Web browser software with the windows operating system software (both microsoft products ) . and partly because Netscape Corporation did not sustain Netscape Navigator's technical innovation after the late 1990s .

Where in , the court ruled that Microsoft's Corporation bundling of Internet Explorer with the windows operating system was monopolistic , and illegal business practise.
