A conputer program made to discover and destroy all types of conputer viruses.
3. API(Application Programming Interface)
AN interface for letting a program communicate with another program. In webterm: An interface for letting Web browser or web servers communicate with other programs.
4.Banner Ad
A (most often graphic) advertisment placed on a web page, which acts as a hyperlink to an advertiser's web site.
5.Bookmark
In,Web terms; A link to a particular website, stored (bookmarked) by a web user for future use and easy access.
6.Cache
In web terms: A web browser or web server feature which stores copies of web pages on a computer's hard disk.
7.Communication Protocol
A standard (language and a set of rules) to allow computer to interact in a standard way. Examples are IP, FTP And HTTP.
8.Cookie
Information from web server, stored on your computer by your web browser. The purpose of a cookie is to provide information about your visit to the web site for use by the server during a later visit.
9.Database
Data stored in a conputer in such a way that a conputer program can easily retrieve and manipulate the data.
10. DOS( Data operating system)
A general disk based computer operating system. Originally developed by Microsoft for IBM personal computer. Used short hand for MS-DOS.
