How You Can  Stand Against Rape Culture ??

Rape Culture is Pervasive . It’s Embeddded in the way we think, speak , and move in the world . While the contexts may differ, rape culutre is always rooted in patriarchal beliefs ,power , and Control.

From the attitudes we have about gender identities to the policies we support in our communities, We can all take actions to stand against rape culture.

Here’s how you can stand against rape culture :

• Have Zero Tolerance . Create a culture of enthusiastic consent.

• Redefine masculinity. Take a  Critical look at what masculinity means to you and how you can embody it.

• Don’t Laugh at Encourage/normalize rape – in any way.

• Educate Next Generation , Start –or join- the conversation.

• Stop Victim-Blaming - Because language is deeply embedded in culture, we may forget that the words and phrases we use each day shape our reality. 

There are Lots of issues out there –

politics,racism,global warming , etc... and it’s okay to maybe lets someone else worry about some of those issues while you focus on the problem that you care about and you can contribute to..I Don’t cover most of it too.. But Rape has Become one such issue that you cannot just let someone else worry about it . Literally ,Every single person has to care about it and stand against it.
